Certificate Of Completion

When a student has earned a Certificate of Completion from a high school, but not an actual diploma, how are we to mark this in InTERS. The options are  "9-12 (no diploma)" or "high school diploma or alternate credential" I believe there used to be a "certificate of completion" option, but it no longer there.

Thanks

It should be marked as high school diploma or alternate credential.

Melissa,

I am confused by this. A person who received a certificate of completion would most likely be seeking a GED. If they are marked as "Diploma or Alternate Credential," will the program receive credit for a GED?

Getting a Certificate of Completion does not affect their eligibility for a Diploma or GED. In Indiana, for example (, a student who has received a Certificate of Completion can still elect to return to high school and complete the requirements for a diploma (or enter a GED program) through age 21.
