Do we need to exit all students who were still attending at the end of the school year.  If so, what type of exit do we select. In what situations do we use each type of exit during the year?  I do not remember seeing any information explaining the exit types.

No, you do not need to exit the student at the end of the program year if they are still attending school. You just need to add a new program record for the new year. INTERS automatically gives a student a "Soft" exit if they have not attended for 90 days.A "Hard" exit is when a student leaves and you know they are not coming back at all. "Continuing" is when a student goes from ESL to ABE or continues on to a post-secondary facility.
